• At least 5 years of experience in the field of general training and development.

• At least 3 years of specific experience in similar field.

About The Project:

BRAC, with funding support from the National Special Economic Zone Development Project of Invest Bangladesh authority, will be providing technical training to unemployed youth, aiming to boost employment opportunities in the industrial zone established at the National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) in Mirsarai, Chattogram. Under this 14-month program, 1,500 individuals will receive demand-driven technical training aligned with the current labor market, social development training, and post-training job placement assistance.  

About The Job:

The role will coordinate and facilitate training programmes, stakeholder consultations, workshops, awareness sessions, and community engagement activities under the Skills and Social Development Programme at NSEZ. It will focus on ensuring inclusive stakeholder participation, supporting BEZA in consultation and grievance redress mechanisms, and facilitating social development and employment pathways for 1,500 beneficiaries in the NSEZ area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, coordinate, and implement training programmes in accordance with the approved project plan, training schedule, and programme objectives.

• Support the identification, selection, and registration of eligible trainees for different training programmes, ensuring transparency, fairness, and inclusion.

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to identify training needs, mobilize participants, and organize training programmes and community awareness activities on social development, employment, skills development, and workers' rights.

• Organize and facilitate national, regional, district, Upazila, and Union-level workshops, public consultations, special day celebrations, and stakeholder engagement events.

• Facilitate consultations with local communities, workers' groups, investors, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to identify their needs, concerns, and expectations regarding NSEZ development.

• Support Invest Bangladesh Authority in stakeholder engagement, public awareness, information sharing, and implementation of the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM).

• Prepare activity plans, coordinate logistics, maintain event documentation, monitor participation and feedback, and prepare periodic reports on training and stakeholder engagement activities.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
