At least 8 years of experience in training and development.
At least 5 years of specific experience facilitating life skills, soft skills or social development training, preferably with youth, women or marginalised communities.
Experience developing or adapting training modules and learning materials.
Strong facilitation skills using participatory, adult learning methods for learners with varied literacy levels.
Good knowledge of gender, inclusion, safeguarding and prevention of sexual harassment.
Accurate record keeping and basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, data entry).
Excellent communication in Bangla, with working English for reports.
Willingness to live in or near Mirsarai and travel within the project area.

About The Project:
BRAC, with funding support from the National Special Economic Zone Development Project of Invest Bangladesh authority, will be providing technical training to unemployed youth, aiming to boost employment opportunities in the industrial zone established at the National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) in Mirsarai, Chattogram. Under this 14-month program, 1,500 individuals will receive demand-driven technical training aligned with the current labor market, social development training, and post-training job placement assistance.
About The Job:
The Trainer will design and deliver employability and life skills training for 300 vulnerable youth under the Social Development Pathway of the SSD Programme, focusing on developing their soft skills, career readiness, and overall employability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and adapt the employability and life skills training module in consultation with project experts, relevant specialists, and community stakeholders, ensuring alignment with national standards and project requirements.
Prepare session plans, facilitator guidelines, learning materials, and assessment tools covering key life skills and employability topics, tailored to participants' needs and literacy levels.
Deliver inclusive and participatory employability and life skills training, conduct initial assessments, and support participants in developing individual learning and development plans.
Monitor attendance and participant progress, follow up with at-risk participants to prevent dropouts, and facilitate referrals to relevant local programmes and services.
Maintain accurate participant records, including attendance, assessments, session documentation, IBR updates, and verified evidence of training outcomes.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly training reports, ensuring coordination with the Training Expert and matrix manager on training quality and alignment with SDP employability standards.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
