Job Context:
∎ BLF is inviting to suitable candidates for Program Officer offering attractive salary package.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka City
∎ Job Location: Savar/ Keraniganj, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design different training courses and prepare training implementation plan focusing on the issues of Labour sector;
∎ Develop training module, manual and design training material/IEC/BCC materials;
∎ Conduct Training Need Assessment (TNA);
∎ Facilitate different training sessions specially on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Labour Law, Trade Unionism, Organizing & Leadership skills, Bargaining & Negotiation skills etc.;
∎ Lead the training team as well as training department of BLF;
∎ Coordinate with different organizations and develop a trainer's resource pool;
∎ Organize and conduct training at field as well as national level;
∎ Provide support to Program/Project Coordinator and Manger-Program
∎ Prepare training reports according to the project requirements;
∎ Any other duties assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in same position in Development Organizations, preferably in NGOs
∎ Basic Computer skills especially MS Word, Excel, Power point presentation with Bangla and English Typing
∎ Ability to use different audio and visual methods in training
∎ Experience on Ready Made Garments (RMG) and Tannery sector and working with worker and trade union will be given preference
∎ Ability to work dependently and with team
∎ Ability to work under-pressure, meet deadlines, priorities workload and 'multi-task'
∎ Female candidate will be given preference
Salary: Negotiable
