Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications to the position titled ‘Training & Monitoring Officer’ to be filled out immediately. In partnership with Sesame Workshop Bangladesh, RDRS Bangladesh will implement the school and community interventions of the project USAID’s Promoting Education for Early Learners Activity funded by USAID Bangladesh. The project goal is, children in the early grades in the primary schools, particularly those from marginalized groups, will demonstrate improved literacy, numeracy, and socio-emotional learning gains where the theme of project is Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in classroom and community settings. Under the brand of Sisimpur, apart from its Television and Digital initiatives, RDRS will lead the implementation of School and Community initiatives. This school and community activities will be implemented in two sub-districts Kulaura and Rajnagar of Moulvibazar district to cover 100+ non-government primary schools run by NGOs, Tea Gardens, Foundations and Societies. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare annual training and monitoring plan of Project jointly with the Upazila team under the guidance of the Project Coordinator–RDRS Bangladesh.
∎ Responsible for proper implementing the project activities within the project area by providing technical support, guidance and mentoring.
∎ Provide input in developing operational guidelines for project activities.
∎ Assist in developing a monitoring system for project activities and implement the M&E system for measuring impact through various approaches.
∎ Acquire special attention to the issues of Vulnerable & Marginalized children.
∎ Ensure frequent onsite field visit and provide continuous support to the SSs, teachers and volunteers.
∎ Ensure frequent field visit, monitor program activities and provide continuous support to the field ensure data collection and use.
∎ Ensure quality data to measuring impact of the project through various approaches using both Qualitative and Quantitative process.
∎ Prepare performance monitoring plan
∎ Provide regular support for monitoring and evaluation components
∎ Participate in project based training programs for proper implementation and achieve expected results
∎ Support in conducting capacity assessment and in preparing capacity inventory of the relevant staff (SSs, teachers and Volunteers) for theproject.
∎ Develop training plan considering the needs for the SSs, teachers, and Volunteers
∎ Assist in developing different training courses and training materials for the respective fields in the areas of project.
∎ Organize and conduct training, workshops, and refreshers for the field teams (SSs, teachers, and volunteers).
∎ Provide continuous training support to the Project Implementation Areas
∎ Document project success stories and case studies.
∎ Assist in data collection for research/study/survey as stated in program proposal
∎ Prepare periodical program reports as required.
∎ Reviewing budget by providing input particularly on project activities.
∎ Keep liaison with relevant NGOs, GOB officials and education-related organizations for effective project implementation and enhancing quality.
∎ Track and follow up project related expenses in the budget provision
∎ Support in setting up project implementation sites
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 08 Years’ experience in child education program in technical areas like Monitoring, Evaluation, Supervision, Coordination, and 05 years in training facilitation
∎ And training materials development.
∎ Working with NGOs with field exposures will be preferred.
∎ Interpersonal & communication skills, presentation, training facilitation & report writing skill, school supervision, community mobilization, computer (MS Office) operating and Motorcycle driving skills.
Salary: Tk. 26018 (Monthly)
