Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Trainee Technology Specialist – Microsoft Azure (Hybrid Cloud) who wants to build a career in cloud-native and hybrid Azure technologies. This role is focused on Microsoft Azure platform services, infrastructure, networking, security, and operations, with exposure to enterprise-grade hybrid cloud environments.

The trainee will work closely with senior Azure engineers and architects to support Azure deployments, cloud operations, optimization, and security, following Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework principles.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Core Services

• Assist in deploying and managing Azure Virtual Machines, scale sets, and availability options

• Support Azure Storage services (Blob, File, Disk, Backup Vaults)

• Assist with Azure App Services and basic PaaS workloads

• Support resource provisioning using Azure Portal, ARM, and Bicep templates

Azure Networking

• Assist in configuring Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, NSGs, and route tables

• Support Azure VPN Gateway and basic hybrid connectivity scenarios

• Assist with Azure Load Balancer and Application Gateway configurations

• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure network connectivity issues

Azure Security & Governance

• Assist in implementing Azure Security Center / Microsoft Defender for Cloud

• Support Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and resource-level access

• Assist with Azure Policies, Blueprints, and tagging standards

• Support basic security posture management and compliance checks

Monitoring, Backup & Resilience

• Monitor workloads using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts

• Assist in configuring Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery

• Support basic business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) tasks

Automation & Operations

• Assist with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure-as-Code tasks

• Support cost monitoring using Azure Cost Management

• Assist in troubleshooting Azure platform and service-level issues

• Maintain Azure documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks
