Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design engaging and click-worthy thumbnails for YouTube, Facebook, and social media ads
∎ Maintain a consistent visual style that aligns with iFixit’s brand identity
∎ Details knowledge about color wheel. Also knowledge of Bi-Color, Four Color, Single Color
∎ Research content trends and analyze top-performing thumbnails in similar niches
∎ Collaborate with the content team to understand video goals, tone, and audience
∎ Create A/B variants of thumbnails to test performance
∎ Design custom text styles, effects, and imagery for better visibility on small screens
∎ Work under tight deadlines and deliver fast with high-quality output
∎ Maintain an organized archive of designs, templates, and assets for future reuse
