Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage a designated territory, including multiple retail outlets, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficient distribution of products.
∎ Develop a thorough understanding of the market dynamics, including competitor activities, consumer preferences, and trends, to identify growth opportunities.
∎ Retail Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, including store managers and staff, to secure prime product placement and drive sales.Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to assess performance, address any issues, and provide necessary support and training to retail staff.
∎ Sales and Revenue Generation: Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
∎ Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement, taking proactive measures to drive sales growth and profitability.
∎ Merchandising and Product Visibility: Ensure optimal product visibility and merchandising standards in retail outlets through effective placement, signage, and promotional displays.
∎ Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
∎ Employee Training: Design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of retail employees within the territory , focusing on product knowledge, customer service skills, sales techniques and operation procedures.
∎ Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels at retail outlets and facilitate replenishment as needed to avoid stockouts and ensure continuous availability of products.
∎ Provide input on demand forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
∎ Market Intelligence and Reporting: Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, consumer trends, and retail landscape developments, and provide timely feedback to management.
∎ Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and territory activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
∎ Compliance and Administration: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all territory activities, including pricing, promotions, and merchandising guidelines.
∎ Maintain accurate records of territory visits, sales activities, and expenses, and submit reports in a timely manner.
