Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferably in Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
Diploma in Livestock or AI training will be an added advantage.
2–5 years of field sales experience in livestock, semen sales, feed, pharmaceutical, or agribusiness sectors.
Experience working with inseminators / field technicians is highly preferred.

Position Overview
The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for driving semen sales growth within the assigned region by managing inseminator networks, developing new markets, executing field-level promotional activities, and ensuring smooth coordination with the Distribution department. The role demands strong field presence, relationship-building with farmers and AI technicians, and monthly target achievement through strategic planning and effective sales execution.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly semen sales targets for the assigned territory.
Conduct regular market visits to identify demand gaps, new customer opportunities, and competitor activities.
Expand market penetration through strategic planning, targeted farmer engagement, and inseminator activation.
Monitor semen product movement and ensure availability across sales points.
Inseminator Sourcing, Development & Relationship Management
Identify, recruit, and onboard new inseminators (AI technicians) to strengthen the field network.
Maintain regular communication with active inseminators to ensure consistent semen usage and field activity.
Provide technical guidance, product knowledge, and field support to inseminators.
Conduct training sessions, skill development meetings, and motivational programs for inseminators.
Track inseminators’ monthly semen usage and ensure they meet performance targets.
Distribution & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate closely with the Distribution department to ensure timely delivery of semen orders within the territory.
Communicate forecasted demand to the distribution team and regional office for smooth planning.
Ensure proper cold chain handling and semen storage practices in the field.
Report distribution challenges immediately and ensure quick resolution.
Dealer & Retail Point Management
Engage with AISP, and veterinary stores to maintain strong product visibility.
Conduct scheduled AISP visits to ensure availability, display, and promotional material placement.
Collect AISP feedback, monitor sales trends, and support their business growth.
Coordinate AISP orders, billing status, and stock reconciliation with head office and logistics team.
Field Promotional Activities
Organize and execute farmer meetings, courtyard campaigns, field demonstrations, breed awareness sessions, and livestock fair participation.
Support branding activities such as distribution of brochures, leaflets, posters, and display materials.
Capture field insights, testimonials, and success cases for marketing and promotional purposes.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and submit to the line manager.
Maintain updated data on inseminators, dealers, sales volume, and target progress.
Track collection status (if applicable) and maintain financial discipline in the territory.
Report customer issues, field challenges, and competitor activities with actionable suggestions.
