Responsibilities & Context:
The Tender Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the tendering process for various projects. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in various tendering methods and a strong background in engineering to effectively analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the tender preparation and submission processes for OTM, LTM, Two Stage Two-Envelope Tendering, One Stage Two Envelope Tendering, DPM, RFQ, EOI, Goods Tender, Works Tender, Service Tender, National Tenders, International Tenders, and Development Partner Tenders.
- Analyze and interpret BOQs and technical specifications to ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and procurement, to gather necessary data and insights for tender preparation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify strategic opportunities and enhance tender submissions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements throughout the tendering process.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all tender submissions and outcomes, providing regular reports to management.
