Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Masters in Water Resources / Public Health / Disaster Management / Development Studies are preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop hygiene promotion program with consultation with the WASH partners and Hygiene promotion technical working group.
∎ Design the implementation plan and realize it at the field level.
∎ Design KAP survey ad other hygiene promotion monitoring tools and make them functional.
∎ Design the feedback mechanisms and ensure hygiene promotion team use the tools correctly
∎ Draft the hygiene promotion section in WASH proposals through provision of the clear write-up
∎ Lead the hygiene promotion implementation through setup of clear task at the field and cox bazar level.
∎ Forecast the resource required under hygiene promotion and ensure the burnt rate are accurate.
∎ Measure the impact level outcomes of BRAC hygiene promotion and recommend the proposed solutions to the team lead.
∎ Assign clear tasks to different team and manage the hygiene promotion personnel in the whole team.
∎ Communicate to the WASH specialists in issues related to the hygiene promotion and provide the feedback to them with clear action points.
∎ Participate in the technical working group and follow the action point and get the support from WASH specialists.
∎ Work closely with funding agencies in issues related to hygiene promotion and take the necessary actions for recommendations or feedback from the agencies.
∎ Work with the information management to ensure the hygiene promotion information are collected, analyzed and disseminated through clear support from you.
∎ Work closely with health section of BRAC and sector to provide the inputs of water related disease and findings from surveys or assessments.
∎ Provide clear direction and plan to the field hygiene promotion to coordinate with the partners on ground.
∎ Participate in camp level meeting and provide the clear feedback and take the corrective actions.
∎ Ensure all the reporting line are maintained in quality and timely manners.
∎ Provide the assessments, surveys report regularly.
∎ Take initiatives to prepare the sector reports.
∎ Develop the capacity building plan at field, community and Cox's Bazar level and ensure it is implemented.
∎ Train the staff and follow the action points from the training sessions.
∎ Develop the action plans for whole trainings.
∎ Perform the other duties for the benefit of the beneficiaries and BRAC in area not conflict with humanitarian core values
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in Hygiene/ WASH in NGO/ INGO
∎ Sound knowledge about WASH activities in Rohingya response
∎ Good knowledge of water and sanitation issues, and hygiene practice.
∎ Proven skills and competencies to work as a Unit lead.
∎ Good Knowledge of Project Planning and implementation.
∎ Knowledge on managing Budget & ensure proper utilization.
∎ English: fluency in the language, expected to work independently using the language required, to prepare a variety of written communications (correspondence, reports, working papers, etc.), to participate actively in meetings and in work related discussions.
∎ Sound knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Problem solving skills
