Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Minimum BSc. (Hons.) in Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural Science/ Forestry and Environment/ Geography and Environment/Environment and Natural Resources Management UGC-approved university.

• At least 2 years

• Age At most 45 years

• Have good skill of English.

• Have computer literacy both English and Bengali (excel, power point, Internet, Microsoft word).

• Must have good knowledge over climate change adaptation, mitigation, climate smart agriculture, climate resilient water and sanitation.

• Must have experience at least 2 years in climate change related project.

Satkhira Unnayan Sangstha (SUS), MRA license No: 00895-00696-00225 is going to implement a project titled: “Adapting to Climate Change and Ensuring Food Security”. The project aims to Climate smart agriculture, income generating activity considering extreme environment and climate condition. The project is financed by the Stromme Foundation (SF), Norway.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate formation of Environment Clubs, including arrangement of regular monthly meeting, celebration of national and international days, and youth engagement program.

• Conduct climate change and adaptation related workshop, seminar, training, club meeting.

• Conduct EIA, IEE and prepare EMP of project activities.

• Preparation of Environmental progress report by comparison with baseline and final activity implementation.

• Monitoring drinking water quality and preparation report.

• Guidance to farmer about environment friendly agricultural practices.

• Performance base Yearly increment.
