Experience:
Master’s degree in education, Social Sciences or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in education program management, teaching, or a technical support role in the education sector.

Strong understanding of educational policies, best practices, and innovations in curriculum development.
Familiarity with the challenges and needs of youth in disadvantaged or underprivileged communities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, multi-stakeholder environment.
Proficiency in data collection, program monitoring, and evaluation techniques.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies, including reporting and budget management.

The Technical Officer- Education will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the development, implementation, and monitoring of educational programs. The role focuses on ensuring that education programs meet high standards and are aligned with the goals of improving access, quality, and relevance in education, especially for marginalized communities or underrepresented groups.
The Technical Officer- Education will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Assist in the design and implementation of educational programs, ensuring the needs of students and align with national education standards.
Support the creation and adaptation of curriculum and educational materials, ensuring those are relevant, inclusive, and accessible to a diverse range of learners.
Conduct need assessment, develop and facilitate training modules and programs for educators to improve teaching methodologies, classroom management, and the use of technology in the learning environment.
Develop and implement tools for monitoring and evaluating educational programs, ensuring that program outcomes are tracked and improvements are made based on data and feedback.
Provide technical expertise and support for education technology initiatives, including digital learning platforms, e-learning modules, and the integration of ICT in the classroom.
Build the capacity of local education stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and policy makers, to improve educational practices and outcomes.
Ensure the implementation of quality assurance processes and support the continuous improvement of educational programs, including compliance with relevant educational standards.
Work with partners, government agencies, SMCs, NGOs, and community organizations to strengthen the impact and scalability of educational programs.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports on program activities, including technical recommendations, progress against objectives, and lessons learned.
Provide technical assistance in design, and implementation to strengthen education systems and policies at local and national levels.
Responsible to do any other task assigned by management.
Safeguarding and PSEA: To meet the program`s objectives for safeguarding and PSEA implementation, make sure team members are protected from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. Serve as a major resource for help, direction, and knowledge on safeguarding & Child protection for developing a safe workplace. To ensure that safeguarding standards are used in every course of action, team members should practice, advocate, and embrace safeguarding policy concerns.
