Job Context:
∎ Provision of life-saving WASH services to the Rohingya refugee population in Ukhiya Upazila, Cox`s Bazar District.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until January 31, 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with the project management on Hygiene Promotion, Community Engagement, Behavioral Change, Diversity Inclusion (Age, Disability & Gender), AAP/CFRM, PSEA, etc. to ensure the inclusive WASH
∎ Lead the Hygiene team for proper implementation of Hygiene promotion activities and ensure adequate field visits for proper monitoring & follow-up of the activities on a regular basis.
∎ Ensure implementation of hygiene promotion activities as per planned approaches like - CCC-PLTH, RANAS, Child focused hygiene, etc. as per UNICEF & WASH Sector standards.
∎ Ensure “Age, Disability & Gender Inclusion” in WASH through sectors approved protection & gender mainstreaming approaches
∎ Ensure menstrual hygiene management (MHM) & male engagement in MHM
∎ Developing strategy, planning, program design & budget, work plan, etc. for Hygiene Team
∎ Developing IEC materials, HP & MHM guidelines, training modules, case study, strategic documents like ToRs, JD etc. as per required
∎ Lead the Hygiene promotion team in the preparation of concise internal monthly, quarterly, and programmatic visit reports, and contribute to the overall Programme reports.
∎ Ensure that there is adequate support and capacity building for the project staffs and Hygiene Promotion Volunteers to implement integrated Hygiene promotion in line with the UNICEF and WASH sector frameworks and strategies and consistent with relevant NGO Forum policies, guidelines, and standards.
∎ Prepare detail implementation plan for hygiene promotion activities in coordination with project management.
∎ Provide support to the distribution of hygiene items, and ensure PDM and follow up to ensure proper usage of items and appropriateness.
∎ Maintain full qualitative and quantitative records and reports of activities, disaggregated by age, gender and disability
∎ Coordinate with stakeholders to provide technical input wherever required.
∎ Facilitate donor and sectoral expert field visits.
∎ Maintain liaise with UNICEF, NGO Forum central levels, HP TwG & WaSH sectors & relevant working groups, & stakeholders as required.
∎ Attending relevant meeting & events with UNICEF, HP TwG & any other relevant external platforms & represent NGO Forum for Public Health.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years

∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision – Dynamism - Good report writing Ability- Presentation skills, Computer skills, etc.
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and in response to changing needs.
∎ Have proven experience & understanding of approaches like - CCC-PLTH, RANAS, Child focused hygiene & WASH sector standards.
∎ Proven expertise in English (both written and spoken) is essential
Salary: Tk. 96990 (Monthly)
