Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate degree in a health-related field with specialized training and/or experience related to GHSA elements such as infection prevention and control (IPC); Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH); and antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overview: The Technical Advisor (TA), provides management support and technical assistance for the design and implementation of country interventions related to Global Health Security Agenda /Antimicrobial Resistance (GHSA/AMR), working as part of the country MSH or MTaPS team.
∎ The TA provides support to the Senior Technical Advisor respective Team Lead/Principal Technical Advisor (PTA), Technical Lead of GHSA/AMR portfolio, and provides direct technical assistance to Ministry of Health and other country partners and stakeholders. As required, the TA also provides technical assistance to other MTaPS country activities, and works with MTaPS Technical Strategy Lead and other MSH technical staff on opportunities, new and existing tools, and country implementation programs related to Anti-Microbial Resistance and strengthening pharmaceutical management systems.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferred: Physician, nurse, pharmacist or public health qualification preferred.
∎ At least 6 years of pharmaceutical management or public health experience, of which at least 1 years in areas contributing to antimicrobial use, IPC or other aspects of AMR containment.
