Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Create and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the Edexcel curriculum.
∎ Design, administer, and grade assignments and tests, providing constructive feedback to students.
∎ Maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment, managing student behavior effectively.
∎ Utilize innovative and creative teaching methods to engage students in active learning.
∎ Incorporate arts, projects, and interactive activities to stimulate creativity and critical thinking.
∎ Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
∎ Regularly assess student performance and progress through formative and summative evaluations, assignments, tests, and examinations as per Pearson’s criteria & DIS exam Policy.
∎ Analyze data to adjust teaching strategies and interventions to meet student learning objectives.
∎ Participate in professional development workshops and stay updated with the latest educational trends.
∎ As a class teacher, communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
∎ Maintain accurate student records and complete related administrative tasks.
∎ Work collaboratively with colleagues and school staff, participating in staff meetings and committees.
∎ Integrate technology into teaching practices and utilize online platforms for remote learning.
∎ Support students' emotional and social development within a supportive classroom atmosphere.
∎ Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
