Responsibilities & Context:
Department of Microbiology, Stamford University Bangladesh is looking for competent applicants for the position of Laboratory Officer for the Department of Microbiology.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare the microbiology labs for teaching sessions and research projects. This includes preparing microbial media, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring all glassware and equipment are clean and functioning correctly.
Provide direct assistance and guidance to students and faculty on proper lab techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
Conduct regular inventory checks and purchase of laboratory media, cultures, chemicals, and reagents.
Ensure security of chemicals, equipments and safety measures of students and personnel on Lab duties.
