Responsibilities & Context:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor department staff, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Customer Service: Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained; handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Sales Management: Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the department.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, product placement, and merchandising standards; conduct regular inventory audits.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Scheduling: Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the department.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing sales reports and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across the store.
