• Bachelor's in hospitality or any degree in hospitality will be preferable.

• Work in liaison with procurement for the purchase of products and materials to be acquired for meal preparation ensuring good quality.

• Involve in receiving ingredients required in kitchen.

• Ensure all ingredients for preparing food are in right supply on time.

• Develop and supervise preparation of menu, ensuring that kitchen staff execute the corresponding recipes.

• Support and facilitate control on food cost.

• Convey clearly any maintenance of kitchen equipment and other safety problems.

• Inspect and ensure best functioning of all kitchen equipment is as per given manufacturers instructions.

• Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels.

• Providing training to new staff members on kitchen standards to facilitate quick adaptation to Gildan culture.

• Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
