Job Responsibilities:

• Clean machineries, supplies, equipment, instruments, and all the spares.
• Follow standard precautions for decontamination processes.
• Monitor biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure consistent safety.
• Check sterilization equipment routinely to ensure it is functioning properly.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment such as steam.
• Verify equipment functionality and operate the tools according to established guidelines.
• Conduct inventory of equipment and restock supplies when needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and stock supply closets.
• Collect and distribute instruments, trays, carts, and other support facility equipment.
• Organize tools, sort mismatched instrument sets, and ensure timely availability of instruments for timely production.
• Verify the proper functioning of equipment piece by piece.
• If equipment is found defective, repair or replace it.
• Perform daily and weekly infection control tests to ensure maximum sterility.
• Prepare and package medical equipment for use in different department facilities.
