∎ OSHE is a specialized labour foundation based in Dhaka promotes Labour Standards and Decent Work in the country through occupational health and safety centric actions. We are looking a qualified Statistician for a special research project entitled “monitoring workplace accident, injury and disease at hazardous sector in Bangladesh” on full time basis.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Statistician / MIS officer shall be responsible for establishing efficient information management systems that strengthen data collection, quality statistical analysis and use of collected data from field, project information for quality report generation / decision-making purpose.
∎ Conduct data analysis based on an agreed framework and compare the data with the official statistics of the relevant government agencies and any other authentic data source for the different hazardous industrial sectors in Bangladesh.
∎ Statistician / MIS officer shall be responsible to develop an inclusive data management and sharing system through which the data will be channelled easily among the project target groups.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 to 5 years proven work experience at any research based institution or NGO as statistician/ MIS officer / or any other similar position.
∎ Ability and successful work experience on develop and manage MIS system at any donor supported project.
∎ Sound statistical analytical skill, report writing and documentation skill in Bangla and English language
∎ Sound IT skill as relevant for effectively serving this position.
