∎ Honors and Masters in Statistics/ applied statistics from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is one of the leading organizations dedicated to public health research in Bangladesh. The centre is now looking for a qualified person to fulfil the following vacant position immediately to work in child drowning prevention programme.
∎ Job location: Dhaka Based with extensive field visit
∎ Duration: Initial appointment will be for 12 months (with possibility for further extension based on funding availability and performance) including 3 months probationary period.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work as a team member to develop research design and analysis plan in various research activities
∎ Supervision, monitoring and assure quality of field data collection and research activities
∎ Organize and Conduct training on data collection and quality control at local, regional and national level
∎ Consolidate research data
∎ Preparing routine reports on data management activities/ study progress
∎ Providing support to the senior statistician to manage the central data base
∎ Manage the data management team
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2-3 years' experiences. Candidates having knowledge and experience to work in health/injury research will be an advantage.
∎ knowledge in data management
∎ Strong network and interpersonal skill
∎ Skill in verbal and written communications in English
∎ Skill in data analysis
∎ Managerial proficiency with facilitation, motivation and leadership capacity to coordinate field staff for superlative data and update reporting of the program
∎ The candidate requires to be skilled in using SPSS and stata
Salary:
∎ Consolidated monthly salary is Tk. 36,804 (including taxes).
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per policy of the organization and are excluded from the remuneration.
