Responsibilities & Context:
Issue reminder letters, notices, and communications to clients for due / overdue payments.
Coordinate with sales, operations, legal, and accounts departments to ensure smooth collection and reconciliation.
Prepare Accounts Receivable (AR) statements, aging schedules, receivable reports weekly / monthly / quarterly.
Review customer files, payment histories, credit status, and track changes in customer profiles.
Negotiate with customers to settle dues, restructure payment plans when needed.
Ensure all collections are correctly recorded in accounting or ERP / customer portal.
Close customer accounts after full settlement, manage documentation, and final reconciliations.
Lead, mentor, or supervise junior staff in the credit realization / collections team (if applicable).
Escalate problematic or high-risk accounts to management, suggest preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
Ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by senior management or the Finance Department.
Any other task assigned by the Management.
