Responsibilities & Context:
· Washing Process Management: Expertly manage various wash types—such as Silicon wash, softener treatment, and tumble drying—specifically tailored for sweater to achieve desired softness and appearance.
· Quality Control & Troubleshooting: Inspect washed sweaters for shrinkage, color fastness, shade variation, pilling, seam twisting, and hand feel. Troubleshoot issues like excessive hairiness or poor surface appearance.
· Recipe & Parameter Definition: Develop and approve wash recipes, including chemical, water, and temperature parameters to ensure quality standards.
· Production & Sample Approval: Coordinate with buying houses for 1st batch approvals and pilot runs to set production standards.
· Finishing & Safety: Ensure proper steam, pressing, and drying procedures are followed. Maintain cleaning equipment and follow safety standards.
· Technical Reporting: Prepare daily reports on production volume, quality, and material usage.
· Training Schedule: Organize and run a training cell as to ensure an adequate work force
