Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree preferably in any discipline preferably in social science/Social welfare/ Psychology/Anthropology/Law/Gender studies.
∎ Postgraduate degree
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To Support the response activities to achieve the organizational vision, mission, and program objectives.
∎ To implement GBV response and prevention activities at the field level in coordination with other senior prevention psychologies, senior training officers, senior adolescent and youth officers, and Caseworkers and in consultation with the project manager, /Sector lead
∎ To ensure timely and proper implementation of activities that she assigned
∎ write up activity reports upon completion of every activity.
∎ Good understanding and supervision skills in GBV Case management and Information Management Systems. It would highly appreciate if she had understood GBVIMS+/Primero.
∎ Basic Knowledge of MS Word, Excel use, and report generation.
∎ Motivate and ensure teamwork among women and girl’s safe spaces’ case worker, and facilitators for greater ministry impact, in the community.
∎ Work in liaison with CiC, Camp management agencies, service providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation.
∎ Take full responsibility for the quality implementation of WGSS, and GBV activities.
∎ Coordinate with all sector-based agencies in the camps to ensure compliance with inter-agency and World Vision International standards for implementing GBV in emergencies as well as gender mainstreaming.
∎ Organize meetings with women, men, and boys to ensure effective participation and support in the respective project activities.
∎ Activity support to case worker on case management with supervision and guideline regularly and follow-up case plan and service
∎ Develop regular events reports and monthly, quarterly, and annual progress, narrative, and project management.
∎ management documents including implementation plans and reports.
∎ Actively support pre-distribution activities for dignity kit distribution i.e. beneficiary assessment and sensitization
∎ Enhance and train women, men, community leaders, religious leaders, boys, and girls on GBV prevention and response.
∎ Conduct capacity-building training on all GBV case management among case management, assistant, and case management volunteer so that they provide support appropriately.
∎ Supervise safely link up survivors who wish to disclose and seek support for their GBV experiences with GBV case management services offered at the women’s space.
∎ Disseminate information to the community on where and how to report GBV incidences and encourage reporting.
∎ Document and share key GBV risks identified during the implementation.
∎ Engage the community in participatory exercises to develop context-specific IEC materials and messages to facilitate community-level sessions.
∎ Assist communities to identify their priorities, opportunities, and resources for effective GBV prevention & response, participation, and psychosocial project implementation.
∎ Establish and liaise closely with other partners, agencies, and local leaders regarding project activities to ensure a coordinated approach to project implementation, including participation in relevant workshops, and meetings and to keep the coordinator informed.
∎ Participate in interagency assessments.
∎ Prepare sub-project proposals, purchase requests, and relevant documents in advance to facilitate the implementation of planned activities.
∎ Track and manage project budget lines assigned.
∎ Maintaining effective communication with finance, and supply chain for smooth implementation of activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Clear Understanding of the issues the project has to work on.
∎ Clear understanding of life skill curriculum, girls shine.
∎ Knowledge of current development and emergency issues
∎ Good conceptual and practical skills in case management and information management system.
∎ Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting
∎ The baseline survey, Evaluation, and Monitoring process and tools.
∎ Good facilitation skills in Training, Seminars, and Advocacy programs.
∎ Proven management and leadership ability
∎ Good communication and networking skills
∎ Chittagong/Rohingya language skills will be a strong consideration. Good command of English & Bengali, both written and verbal.
∎ Decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint presentation.
∎ Ability to work under stressful conditions and adapt to local culture and situation.
∎ Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in the relevant field
∎ World Vision experience
∎ Must be willing and able to travel in the camp location five days in a week.
∎ Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camps. Staff is expected to live in his/her base location.
