Job Responsibilities:
∎ Management of Beneficiary Database Information:
∎ Cross checking the GFA beneficiaries' data as received from partner staff to be cleaned and error free.
∎ Update muster data base align with active list (Assistant card) verses GFD beneficiaries.
∎ Review GFD round wise distribution plan and submit to Manager (Ops) GFA, for onward submission to Donor.
∎ Reporting, Analysis and Information Dissemination
∎ Ensure regular and consistent updating of programme beneficiary and assistance delivery via appropriate reporting software/platform
∎ Generate summary statistics, and rapid and initial analysis and findings from Programme databases, M&E datasets and/or other sources of data to support data requests from Programmes
∎ Verify beneficiary reporting figures for quarterly and final donor reports, ensuring that reported figures best match with sources of information
∎ Develop MIS process improvements for increased efficiency
∎ Lead the design and implementation of M&E plans, Indicator Performance Tracking Tables (IPTTs) under the assigned sector, with support from the Programme Manager.
∎ Representing the M&E activities at kick-off and close-out meetings for Awards related to the assigned sector
∎ Lead the design and implementation of monitoring tools and processes (for example, post distribution monitoring, Focus Group Discussions, exit interviews and other quantitative and qualitative tools)
∎ Support the management of external evaluations, in line with the Humanitarian Evaluation Synthesis approach, and support the implementation of management responses to evaluations.
∎ Lead the design and implementation of Learning Agendas for the assigned sector, in alignment with the overall Rohingya Response Learning Agenda - this may include the planning and delivery of lesson learning workshops.
∎ Data Quality Control
∎ Carry out quality checks on Programme and MIS-related databases (including beneficiary databases, delivery of assistance databases, complaints and feedback mechanism and reporting figures) of SCI and Partner organizations
∎ Record findings of differences or issues in a data quality log, and coordinate with relevant teams to identify and carry out appropriate plan of action/follow-up.
∎ Coordination, Representation and capacity building
∎ Attend relevant meetings on information and data management
∎ Ensure back-up of all data and information sources (hard copy, soft copy)
∎ Assess the training need assessment of partner IT staff including data entry operator & help desk operator.
∎ Arrange practical training to the staff and Provide necessary guidance for their improvement.
∎ Lead the design and implementation of capacity building activities (including training, on the job coaching and other appropriate methods) for WVI staff and volunteers and partner staff under the assigned sector.
∎ Assessment & Research study:
∎ Conduct GFA market assessment survey engaging partner staff
∎ Prepare daily/monthly and quarterly report and submit
∎ Develop lesson learnings and archives documents
∎ General:
∎ Willing and ready to work in any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in Bangladesh
∎ Attend trainings, meetings, and workshops to update knowledge and skills as assigned and disseminate new knowledge/ information.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/management.
