Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the daily function of the ETP, including pumps, blowers, aeration tanks, and clarifiers, and handle the shift operations of ETP, STP, RO, and MEE systems.
Conduct regular laboratory tests on raw and treated water, analyzing parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, and MLVSS to keep the parameter as ZDHC guidelines.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate major repairs with the maintenance team.
Maintain detailed daily logs, reports, and checklists of operations, maintenance, and chemical consumption for internal systems and regulatory bodies like the local Pollution Control Board (PCB).
Oversee the proper management and disposal of sludge generated during the treatment process.
Any other responsibility as and when assigned by the management.
