Job Context

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA & QC professional with 6 to 8 years of proven experience in factory operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in managing, implementing, and coordinating factory operations and quality control activities within a steel manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures raw materials, in-process production, and finished products meet specified quality and safety standards before delivery

• Lead, monitor and provide technical and operational direction to QA/QC engineers and inspectors.

• In-depth knowledge of steel codes and standards (AISC, AWS, MBMA), non-destructive testing (NDT), welding practices, and material traceability documentation (MTRs).

• Implement and manage the overall QA/QC system for steel projects, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.

• Prepare and implement Quality Control Plans (QCPs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and detailed work procedures in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

• Review materials at the site and in the Finished Goods Yard to ensure compliance with project specifications

• Coordinate with concerned departments on materials and equipment to maintain quality standards

• Record inspection and maintain logs, and prepare detailed reports on quality metrics.

• Collaborate with production teams to identify the root cause of defects and suggest improvements.

• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Project, and MS Office Software

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
