Experience:
PGD in SCM
Experience in Jute manufacturing or textile production is preferred.
Good knowledge of procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations
Strong knowledge of Jute processing, machinery, and quality control standards.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skill.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in MS Excel, ERP software, and data analysis
Strong communication and coordination ability to time management and multitasking skills
Understanding of supply chain KPIs and reporting tools.

Established in 1988, GFTCL has been fully dedicated to developing, promoting, and exporting different types of Jute, Jute goods, and Jute-diversified products. Over the last thirty years, the company is exporting Jute/Kenaf fibers to traditional Jute and Textile mills, construction industries, the automotive sector, paper-pulp industries, and non-woven industries worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
Assist in developing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
Evaluate and onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
Monitor vendor performance against KPIs (quality, delivery, cost).
Ensure timely purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and follow-ups.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Management
Ensure optimal inventory levels through effective stock planning.
Coordinate with warehouse teams for proper storage, FIFO/FEFO, and inventory accuracy.
Implement stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
Reduce excess/obsolete inventory through data-driven decisions.
3. Logistics & Distribution
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Ensure timely shipment, transportation scheduling, and delivery follow-ups.
Work with logistics partners to optimize freight cost and improve service levels.
Track and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
4. Demand Planning & Forecasting
Support sales and production teams in forecasting demand.
Analyze consumption trends, sales data, and lead times to maintain stock availability.
Identify gaps between actual vs. forecasted demand and propose corrective measures.
5. Process Improvement & Reporting
Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
Assist in implementing ERP systems and digital tools (SAP, Oracle, ERPNext, etc.).
Prepare regular reports on procurement, stock status, logistics cost, and vendor performance.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
