Experience:
PGD in SCM holder candidates will get preference.
Strong knowledge of export-import procedures and documentation
LC handling and banking coordination
Customs and bonded warehouse regulations
Communication and negotiation skills MS Excel, ERP, and documentation systems
Problem-solving and time management skills
Prepare and process export documents (Invoice, Packing List, EXP Form, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, etc.)
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing & forwarding (C&F) agents.
Ensure timely shipment and compliance with buyer and country-specific requirements.
Liaise with buyers regarding shipment schedules and export documentation.
Handle import documentation including LC, PI, Bill of Entry, Insurance, and Shipping documents.
Coordinate with banks for LC opening, amendment, and payment procedures.
Ensure timely clearance of imported raw materials, machinery, and accessories.
Monitor import costs, duties, VAT, and related charges.
Prepare and review Letter of Credit (LC) applications.
Ensure compliance with UCP 600 and bank requirements.
Coordinate with banks for negotiation, acceptance, and retirement of documents.
Ensure adherence to customs, VAT, bonded warehouse, and trade regulations.
Maintain updated knowledge of export-import policies, HS codes, and tariff structures.
Support audits and inspections by customs or regulatory authorities.
Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with procurement, production, finance, and logistics teams.
Maintain export-import records and MIS reports.
Analyze shipment performance and recommend process improvements.
