∎ Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
∎ Sound understanding of IFRS and Bangladesh accounting standards.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
∎ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage daily accounting operations, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
∎ Ensure accurate preparation of financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
∎ Handle VAT and TAX matters as per Bangladesh regulations, including monthly submissions and compliance.
∎ Prepare and submit VAT returns, withholding TAX (TDS) calculations, and ensure timely payment to the authorities.
∎ Maintain and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable related to freight forwarding operations.
∎ Work closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
∎ Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and audits.
∎ Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities as needed.
∎ Maintain all financial documents and ensure filing in compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements.
