Job Context:
GAWSIA DEVELOPER`S LTD. is seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager in Accounts & Finance department, Tax & VAT to manage the financial bookkeeping for audit and taxation. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IAS, ISA, IFRS, GAAP, Income tax ordinance, Finance, Registration Act, TDS rule VAT Act and legal requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage all financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, in compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
Manage inter-company reconciliations and financial reporting for various sister concerns within the group.
Provide accurate and timely MIS reports and financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Manage bills, vouchers, cheque issuance, and overall payment processes, ensuring proper documentation, accuracy, and timely disbursement of funds.
Supervise bank transactions, monthly reconciliations, and overall cash flow management.
Check and verify all source data, including bills, vouchers, requisitions, and delivery challans.
Oversee all aspects of VAT compliance, including the issuance of Tax Invoices (Mushak-6.3) and timely submission of VAT Returns (Mushak-9.1).
Handle corporate and personal tax planning and prepare documentation for withholding tax and annual tax return filings, including TDS, VDS, and AIT.
Monitor project-wise costing, budgeting, and profitability analysis, specifically for the land purchase and construction sectors.
Develop and implement internal control systems, financial policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Verify inventory balances through periodic physical counting and reconciliation.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit completion and statutory compliance.
Review monthly salary, wages, and overtime (OT) sheets for group employees.
Lead and supervise subordinates, ensuring the implementation of company rules and regulations.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by superior management.
