  • 4–5 years’ experience in accounting (Travel, Tourism, Airline, or Newspaper sector preferred).

  • Proficiency in IATA BSP operations is a must.

  • Experienced in Traveler,Trabill software systems, Tally, and MS Excel.

  • Bilingual proficiency: English & Bangla (verbal and written).

  • Background with manpower recruiting agencies is an advantage.

  • Strong integrity, problem-solving, multitasking, and deadline management.

  • Familiar with financial regulations and compliance standards.

  • Experience in Costpoint software is a bonus.

  • Able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

We are now seeking a Senior Accounts Officer to strengthen our finance department. If you have expertise in IATA BSP, tourism accounts, Newspaper Accounts Software, and financial management, this is your opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team crafting world-class travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations including invoicing, receivables, and payables.

  • Reconcile and oversee IATA’s Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP), Tourism, and Newspaper Accounts Software.

  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.

  • Conduct internal audits and ensure financial compliance.

  • Work cross-departmentally to streamline accounting processes.

  • Analyze data to support informed financial decision-making.

  • Liaise with banks for transactions and financial services.

  • Supervise payroll processing and employee disbursements.

  • Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and registers.

  • Ensure proper functioning of Traveler, Trabill, Tally, and Payroll systems.

  • Perform Bank Reconciliation and manage cheque records.

  • Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports for management.

  • Handle ad hoc tasks with precision and accountability.

  • Maintain financial accuracy, discretion, and discipline.
