Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc in Engineering.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop new courses and provide intensive supervision and guidance for effective design development and achievement of expected outcomes
∎ Ensure development, quality assurance and regular updates of education and skills development curricula in line with competencies and outcomes as set in national and international standards and market demands.
∎ Ensure development & delivery of quality and effectiveness of teaching-learning processes in education and skills training programmes
∎ Innovate, develop and share appropriate methods, strategies for ensuring cost-effective management of programmes.
∎ Ensure proper and regular supply of relevant information from Programmes to all departments, especially Strategy, Knowledge Management & Corporate Affairs.
∎ Undertake regular and frequent visits to regions and provide necessary and timely guidance for efficient and effective management, trouble shooting, proper supervision and monitoring of programmes.
∎ Ensure development / necessary review & effective and efficient implementation of UCEP Bangladesh’s Programme Strategy, Annual Plan and Business Goals
∎ Support to establish and maintain an effective and efficient result-based M&E system and knowledge management mechanism.
∎ Contribute to develop project proposal, project completion report, qualitative concept papers, due diligence assessment of partners, business plans etc especially for the expansion, growth and sustainability of the programme and institute.
∎ Contribute to develop and update Project Management Guidelines (PMGs) and ensure necessarily follow up.
∎ Maintain state of preparedness about the PCM (project cycle management) to make informed suggestion/decision at appropriate forums.
∎ Develop operational manuals, publications, IEC learning Materials, guidelines etc. and ensure its effective uses across the organization e.g. schools and social enterprises.
∎ Ensure timely preparation of programmes report and submission to donors, partners, government, organizational and other needs.
∎ Initiate, encourage, scale up and ensure proper follow up of necessary research and innovations in regard to development and expansion of programmes and the institutions.
∎ Develop and implement high tech-based in-built automated M&E mechanisms for UCEP Bangladesh’s management, its programmes, and its entities at central and regional levels.
∎ Ensure proper record keeping, MIS and documentation.
∎ Develop capacity both at HO and field level through intensive supervision, mentoring and training so that team members can grow and take up larger roles as programme expands
∎ Ensure necessary support to other departments for smooth functioning e.g. resource mobilization, monitoring-research and evaluation.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the UCEP authority as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 06 years of relevant professional experience including at least 02 years in TVET and skills sector specialist role.
∎ Excellent command on communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel.
∎ Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
