Assessment of pediatric  patients;

Preparing patients for procedures prescribing and calculating weight based medications

Responding quickly to emergencies in the wards and Accident and emergency  department  and admitting patients under the guidance of consultant 

Explaining treatment and procedures to enable parents/guardians to consent to treatment and doing small procedures and lumber puncture ,NG Tube insertion ,IV cannulation

Engaging in and promoting multidisciplinary teamwork, including working alongside Consultants and nurses.

To prepare the on call rota of the department  ensure compliance with on call rota

To be part quality improvement and patient safety program.

To guide the registrar and residents in the department.
