Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct in-depth cost analysis for all product categories, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and transportation costs.
Develop and maintain cost models to calculate the cost of goods sold (COGS) for various product lines and configurations.
Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements within the production process and supply chain.
Prepare regular cost reports and present findings to senior management to support informed decision-making.
Implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure adherence to budgeted costs and targets.
Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to costing, and ensure compliance within the organization.
Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure cost considerations are integrated into product development and production processes.
