Job Responsibilities:
∎ Summary: The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing sourcing, development and production efforts on the ground in the region. This includes textile and print operations as well as garment makers. Negotiations with vendors is key, as executing all timelines and quality standards for both development and production.
∎ Job Duties (including, but not limited to):
∎ Work directly with vendors to meet the customer's requirements. This position will also act as a key communication point between the company's offices and these facilities. This includes communicating information related to garment production, pricing, and quality.
∎ Follow orders closely with vendors and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction, quality and on-time delivery.
∎ To follow-up on product development efforts with vendors to produce correctly and on-time.
∎ Facilitate all negotiation of consumptions and cost
∎ Coordinates with vendors to determine/fix delivery schedule (date) and sequence of implementing orders in production lines and follows up to ensure our space is given as agreed and on-time shipment occurs.
∎ Contributes in developing material sourcing network.
∎ Be informed about all final inspections and give support as necessary
∎ Confirm adherence to social & safety audit requirements as required
∎ Will report to China office; Communication will be in English
∎ Source manufacturers that are reliable and a good fit for the company, as needed
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ At least 10 years of combined experience in textiles, printing, and garment manufacture
∎ Strong communication skills
∎ Proficient in English; reading, writing, and speaking
∎ Willing to travel throughout the territory regularly (primarily India & Bangladesh) and to US and China as needed
∎ Must have experience meeting customer's test requirements
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
∎ Hard-working, flexible and trustworthy
∎ Aggressive and results-driven; excellent negotiator
∎ Capable to manage different customer requirements simultaneously
∎ Should have strong communication skills (both written and spoken English)
Salary: Negotiable
