• MBBS degree with specialization / training in ultrasonology or radiology (Post Graduate Diploma / certification preferred).
• Valid medical registration / license as per national regulations.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential medical information with integrity.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Sonologist to join our Diagnostic Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting a wide range of ultrasound procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The role requires both clinical acumen and technical expertise in sonographic imaging across diverse patient groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations (abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, small parts, vascular, musculoskeletal, etc.) as per clinical requirements.
• Review patient history and clinical information to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Analyze images and prepare detailed diagnostic reports for referring physicians.
• Collaborate with radiologists, gynecologists, and other clinicians for accurate diagnosis.
• Ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and address patient concerns before and after examinations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of ultrasound findings.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians/sonographers when required.
• Stay updated with advances in ultrasound technology and diagnostic practices.
