Job Context:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mid-Level Python (Django/Flask) Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to convert multiple large-scale PHP projects into Python (Django/Flask). This role requires a solid understanding of backend development, a focus on performance, and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze the existing PHP codebase and design a migration plan to Python (Django/Flask).Develop scalable and maintainable Python (Django/Flask) applications based on the existing project requirements.Collaborate with the front-end and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.Optimize and refactor the code for performance and scalability during the migration process.Ensure proper documentation of the code and development process.Maintain existing systems during the transition period and support legacy systems when required.
Job Requirements:
Experience:Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Python development with Django/Flask framework.Prior experience in migrating applications from other languages to Python is a plus.Experience in handling large-scale web applications or enterprise-level projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Python programming and Django/Flask framework.
Familiarity with PHP and Zend frameworks to understand the legacy code.
Strong understanding of MVT architecture and ORM.
Solid experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and databases.
Experience with Redis for caching and task management.
Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
Strong knowledge of Git for version control.Knowledge of modern technologies and practices, including containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with current technology trends in web development and microservices architecture.
Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills to document and explain technical concepts clearly.
