About the Position
Wempro Inc. is looking for passionate and skilled Python/Django Developers to join our software development team.
We are seeking candidates with strong programming fundamentals, hands-on Django experience, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and SEO-friendly web applications.
Practical experience with AI-powered development tools is essential, as we value developers who can use modern technologies to improve productivity, solve problems efficiently, and deliver quality software.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Python and Django.
Build secure and scalable REST APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
Design and manage PostgreSQL/MySQL databases and optimize queries.
Implement authentication, authorization, and third-party API integrations.
Develop SEO-friendly websites with clean URLs, metadata, sitemaps, structured data, and performance optimization.
Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and code refactoring.
Review and validate AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot bugs, optimize backend performance, and maintain clean, reusable code.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.
Participate in testing, code reviews, documentation, and deployment.
Required Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Python fundamentals, OOP, and problem-solving.
Hands-on knowledge of Django, Django REST Framework, and RESTful APIs.
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL, Django ORM, and SQL queries.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, JWT, and basic web security.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Postman.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web architecture.
Understanding of technical SEO, website performance, and search engine indexing.
Practical experience with AI development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
Ability to understand, debug, and improve AI-generated code rather than relying on it blindly.
Additional Skills (Good to Have)
Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Next.js.
Basic knowledge of Docker, Linux servers, and CI/CD.
Experience with Redis, Celery, or background task processing.
Understanding of cloud deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Lighthouse, or PageSpeed Insights.
Exposure to AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or LLM API integration.
Understanding of caching, application security, and scalable architecture.
Education & Experience
B.Sc. in CSE, Software Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
1–2 years of relevant experience in Python/Django development.
Fresh graduates with strong practical projects are welcome.
Selection will be based on technical skills, project experience, and practical assessment.
