Willingness to travel frequently in remote community within the project area.
Age preference will be above 18 years (Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications and experience).

Job Context:
Vacancy: 03 (Chilmari, Ramkrishnapur and Pragpur Union of Daulatpur Upazila under Khustia District).
Job Summary:
The position is for the "Digi-Gram: Democratizing Digital Public Services through Community-Led Action" project, Supported by British Council and Funded by the European Union. The Social Mobilizer will play a critical role to Improve inclusive access of vulnerable women to digital public services, including Union Digital Center services, civil registration and certification, and Social Safety Net Programme (SSNP) services, with reduced barriers to online applications, documentation, approvals and service follow-up of Mother and Child Benefit Programme (MCBP) for community participation at the grassroots level. By acting as a bridge between the project team and local communities, the Social Mobilizer will ensure the effective implementation of project activities, facilitate meaningful engagement with community level stakeholders, and drive initiatives that benefit marginalized mother and pregnant women to take active roles in digital literacy, e-governance.
Working locations: The position is based in union level in Daulatpur Upazila under Kushtia District. Candidate from Ulipur, Ramkrisnapur & Pragpur Union of Daulatpur Upazila under Khustia District will be get preference.
Duration: Initially 9.5 months with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.
Reportable To: Digital Inclusion Facilitator. He/she will collaborate closely with the project team
Job Responsibilities
Lead community-level mobilisation and outreach in the three targeted unions and Facilitate and implement project activities at the union level in coordination with local stakeholders.
Identify and engage pregnant and potentially eligible women, families and vulnerable community members.
Organise community/courtyard awareness sessions and Gramer Digital Shobha sessions, support participant registration and follow-up, and maintain regular communication with local leaders and community groups.
Organize community meetings, workshops, and training sessions to promote digital literacy, digital public services, including Union Digital Center services, civil registration and certification, and Social Safety Net Programme (SSNP) services, with reduced barriers to online applications, documentation, approvals and service follow-up of Mother and Child Benefit Programme (MCBP).
Collect community feedback and report emerging service-access barriers to the project team.
Provide technical assistance to mother and pregnant women on Digital literacy through using mobile responsive web application.
To increase community awareness and digital skills, while strengthening support through the engagement of husbands, family members, community leaders, and local influencers.
To generate community-level evidence on digital service barriers and use it to promote more accessible, transparent, and inclusive Mother and Child Benefit Programme (MCBP) services.
Engage with union parishad members, community leaders, and mother and pregnant women to foster e-governance practices.
Assist in developing communication materials and awareness campaigns on gender equality.
Ensure timely reporting and documentation of project activities and progress.

Remuneration and facilities: The total monthly salary will be Tk 12,000.00 plus other benefits i.e. weekly 02 Holidays, phone allowance and travel allowance as per organizational policy and budget allocation of the project.
