∎ Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in a sports/media/news industry.
∎ Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X algorithms.
∎ Excellent writing skills for crafting engaging captions and headlines.
∎ Knowledge of content SEO and social media optimization techniques.
∎ Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
∎ Ability to work with templates and produce quick-turnaround content.
∎ Analytical mindset to measure and improve performance.
∎ Passion for cricket and sports is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Social Media Management Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and audience growth.
∎ Schedule and publish daily posts across all platforms. Write interactive and engaging captions tailored for each platform.
∎ Monitor social media trends and leverage them for content creation. Respond to comments and messages to enhance community engagement. Collaborate with the content and video teams to align social media content with ongoing campaigns.
∎ Content Creation & SEO Research trending topics and incorporate SEO strategies to optimize social media content. Ensure posts include relevant hashtags, keywords, and metadata for maximum reach. Analyze post-performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
∎ Graphic & Video Editing Work with Photoshop & Illustrator to create visually appealing graphics and promotional materials. Use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit short-form and long-form video content.
∎ Adapt templates for quick content turnaround during live events and breaking news. Create reels, stories, and interactive polls for enhanced audience engagement.
∎ Performance Analysis & Reporting Track social media metrics using platform analytics tools and generate reports. Provide insights on engagement, reach, and audience demographics to improve strategy.
∎ A/B test different content formats and posting times to maximize effectiveness.
