Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or Equivalent degree from any recognized university/ institution with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations.

∎ 1 to 3 year(s)

Excellent communication skill, Frequent field visit, MS Office, work with slum dwellers
Job Context:
∎ Support urban extreme poor individuals and households using a Case Management approach
∎ Documentation and Debriefing
∎ Communication, Coordination & Networking
Job Responsibilities:
∎ (Support urban extreme poor individuals and households using a Case Management approach)
∎ Conduct a range of assessments in alignment with the SOP of the SUDIN Program.
∎ Conduct referrals and support urban extreme poor community members (clients) to access timely and appropriate services (eg. physical and mental health services, livelihood, education, legal and social support etc.) in alignment with program SOP and guidance from the manager.
∎ Develop client-centered action plans and timely ongoing goal setting and reviews.
∎ Provide quality and inclusive client-centered case management support of individuals and households in accordance with program guidelines and values statement.
∎ Conduct outreach visits to current and potential intervention sites.
∎ Conduct a range of community and small group sessions/workshops to develop community building and improve mental health and well-being.
∎ Engage in ‘follow-up’ activities with individuals and households who have disconnected from services in alignment with program SOP.
∎ (Documentation and Debriefing)
∎ Ensure accurate, professional and timely maintenance of individual, household and community level records and data collection in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
∎ Engage in regular debriefing/supervision sessions with manager and key program staff.
∎ Engage in monthly review meetings.
∎ Communication and Coordination
∎ Develop and foster a therapeutic relationship with targeted households and community.
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with relevant services and agencies – these include local leaders, ward councilors, law enforcement agencies, and local health, education and livelihood service providers.
∎ Attend relevant meetings and workshops as agreed with the Manager.
∎ Maintain a collaborative and supportive working relationship with colleagues and peers.
∎ ANY OTHER FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES OR PORTFOLIO WHICH MAY BE ASSIGNED BY THE UPPER MANAGEMENT OF THE PROJECT AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Experienced in working in one or more of the following areas: urban extreme poor communities, homelessness, mental health, disability, drug and alcohol, family violence, sexual abuse, with communities engaged in sex work, or individuals exiting the justice system.
∎ Has Bachelor level tertiary qualification. An ideal candidate will have a degree relevant to the delivery of community services e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Development Studies or equivalent.
∎ Has highly developed engagement and communication skills.
∎ Demonstrated ability in service delivery including the capacity to effectively manage and respond to challenging situations.
∎ Highly developed analytical and decision-making skills and the capacity to work both autonomously and cooperatively.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 35000 (Monthly)
