Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field is required.
∎ Experience in Cox’s Bazar humanitarian context in a leading meal position will be more suitable.
∎ Expertise in qualitative and quantitative MEAL methods, with a solid grasp of human rights principles in development.
∎ Advanced proficiency in MS Office, digital data collection, and infographic tools.
∎ Strong multitasking and stakeholder coordination skills.
∎ Skilled in reporting and analytical analysis
∎ Strong understanding of accountability principles and experience in implementing CFRM systems.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural team.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement project-specific Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks to track progress, outcomes, and impact, ensuring alignment with log-frame indicators.
∎ Design comprehensive quantitative and qualitative monitoring methodologies and data collection tools aligned with project objectives, and indicators.
∎ Ensure accuracy, completeness, and gender segregation in data collection methodologies and tools.
∎ Train project staff on data collection, management, and reporting procedures.
∎ Regularly review, analyse, and report project data to provide timely feedback to project teams.
∎ Provide the Project Coordinator with reports and necessary information for evidence-based decision-making.
∎ Coordinate the preparation and submission of regular progress reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
∎ Establish mechanisms for collecting feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders.
∎ Integrate accountability mechanisms into project activities, including a complaint, feedback and response mechanism (CFRM) to address beneficiary concerns.
∎ Promote a culture of learning within the organization by facilitating reflection, documentation, and knowledge sharing among project teams.
∎ Conduct periodic evaluations and assessments to identify lessons learned and best practices.
∎ Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to meet reporting requirements and integrate lessons learned into ongoing and future project activities.
∎ Provide training and capacity-building support to project staff, partners, and stakeholders on MEAL principles and practices.
∎ Mentor and coach project teams in utilizing MEAL tools and methodologies effectively.
∎ Lead the development of evidence and learning briefs based on various studies, evaluations, and research conducted.
∎ Coordinate with the program team to stay informed about project updates and provide evidence-based feedback for adaptive project management.
∎ Lead the design and implementation processes of baseline studies, evaluations, and surveys to verify and test the quality of interventions.
∎ Identify good practices, innovative approaches, and lessons learned for documentation and sharing with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Other duties as assigned.
∎ The purpose of the senior Manager MEAL is to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning processes within the organization's projects. The role involves designing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks, ensuring accountability to beneficiaries and stakeholders, and facilitating a culture of learning and adaptive management.
