is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Exterior & Interior) to join our design and execution team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in site supervision, material and quality control, coordination with contractors, and ensuring that both architectural and interior works are executed according to design, drawings, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Engineer Job Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities to ensure project timelines are met.
Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Review project drawings and specifications to understand technical requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
2. Site Supervision
Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, designs, and safety standards.
Monitor site labor force and subcontractor work progress.
Verify the quality and quantity of materials used at the site.
3. Quality Control
Inspect and ensure that construction materials and workmanship comply with design and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and testing.
Report any technical issues or design discrepancies to the project manager or architect.
4. Safety & Compliance
Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations at the site.
Ensure workers follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment.
Maintain proper documentation of safety protocols and incidents.
5. Material & Resource Management
Manage and track materials delivery, usage, and storage.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Raise purchase requests or requisitions for required materials.
6. Technical Support
Provide technical guidance to workers and subcontractors.
Assist in resolving design or construction-related challenges.
Support project managers in preparing as-built drawings and technical documentation.
7. Communication & Reporting
Liaise between project management, consultants, and site teams.
Maintain site records including daily progress logs, work permits, and inspection checklists.
Report progress, challenges, and delays promptly to the project management team.
8. Handover & Documentation
Assist in preparing project completion documents and as-built reports.
Participate in final inspections and ensure all punch list items are completed.
Support the handover process to clients or facility management teams.
