• You need to be meticulous in their work, ensuring accurate information is entered into Ship Station and that labels are prepared correctly.

Strong Communication Skills:

• You need to be able to communicate effectively with management, vendors, and transportation departments.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• You need to be able to identify and resolve shipping issues, and find creative solutions to improve efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing the procurement process and overseeing shipping

operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. This role involves coordinating

with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining inventory levels while ensuring compliance

with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical

skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

Optimizing Shipping Settings

• This involves analyzing shipping dimensions, weight, and pricing strategies to identify areas for cost reduction and improved efficiency

Managing Shipping Orders

• They're responsible for tracking and inspecting all incoming and outgoing products, designing shipping schedules, and preparing and attaching labels on packaging.

Connecting with Marketplaces and Platforms:

• Use Ship Station to allow businesses to connect with various marketplaces and e-commerce platforms, and the specialist ensures these connections are seamless.

Utilizing Ship Station Features:

• Proficient in using Ship Station's various features, such as automation, printing labels, and managing shipping costs, according to Ship Station's website.

Improving Logistics Operations:

• Work to enhance overall logistics by optimizing shipping processes, improving communication with carriers, and finding solutions to address any shipping challenges.
