Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies, Psychology, Development Studies, Social Science preferably with honors degree from any recognized University.

Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 87 on-going projects covering 209 upazila focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare and Community Development, ii) Quality Education, iii) Health Care and Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Development and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox’s Bazar is looking for suitable candidates for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with the Manager Protection and Project Coordinator as technical specialist for GBV and counselling activities.
∎ Technical Supervision of the staff and volunteers on protection, counselling and GBV case Management.
∎ Develop training plan for Community Volunteers on GBV, PSS, and counselling; facilitate sessions as needed, with support of the Protection officer and other resource agencies.
∎ Develop community facilitation guide for GBV prevention session and train the CBFOs community facilitators to facilitate the session among men and women.
∎ Ensure technical support in conducting assessments and base-/end line surveys as needed, assuring for compliance with safety and ethical standards;
∎ Responsible for GBV case management. Contribute to developing SoPs for the team in identification of cases and case management.
∎ Ensure project activities, specifically counselling is implemented in a high-quality manner.
∎ Report to the Protection Manager on Protection trends, strategy for the program and need of support.
∎ Protection Mainstreaming and Quality Programming
∎ Uphold the strictest confidentiality and protection of data pertaining to beneficiaries and Caritas Bangladesh staff and volunteers, and reinforce this confidentiality in the field.
∎ Understand Protection against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation and Safeguarding policies, and uphold duties as a mandated reporter.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in the similar job in any NGO/INGOs. Working experience in emergency response program especially in Cox’s Bazar district for Rohingya People will be given preference.
∎ Knowledge of counseling, GBV case management and referral pathways.
∎ Experience of developing trainings content on GBV and MHPSS
∎ Ability to engage with local and international agencies.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and training skills.
∎ Computer MS Word, Internet, E-mails, Excel.
∎ Language: English and Bangla required. Speaking ability in Chittagonian local dialect is a plus.

Salary: Tk. 60000 - 65000 (Monthly)
