Responsibilities & Context:

POSITION: Service Engineer (Automobile)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/B.Sc. in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Technical certifications in automotive diagnostics will be considered an advantage.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in the automobile industry.

• Experience in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work.

• Prior experience in an automotive workshop, dealership, or service center is preferred.

• Knowledge of vehicle electrical, mechanical, suspension, braking, and air-conditioning systems.

• Experience with Japanese and hybrid vehicles will be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.

• Conduct inspections and prepare technical reports.

• Ensure quality repair and maintenance work.

• Supervise technicians and coordinate workshop activities.

• Follow safety standards and manufacturer-recommended procedures.

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostic equipment and software.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driving license preferred. (Optional)
