Responsibilities & Context:

What You’ll Do

• Own and execute the SEO strategy for our real estate marketplace

• Perform keyword research for buyer, seller, renter, and agent-focused queries

• Optimize category pages, listing pages, location pages, and blogs

• Plan and implement technical SEO improvements (site structure, indexing, CWV, schema, internal linking)

• Create and optimize location-based and long-tail content (e.g., areas, property types, guides)

• Collaborate with content writers on SEO-driven briefs and outlines

• Monitor performance using Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools

• Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and continuously iterate

• Analyze competitors and suggest product-level SEO improvements

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience doing SEO for marketplace, classifieds, or large content websites

• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO

• Experience with real estate, e-commerce, or local SEO is a big plus

• Comfortable working with developers on technical fixes

• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with programmatic SEO

• Knowledge of schema markup (RealEstateListing, LocalBusiness, etc.)

• Experience growing traffic from 0 → scale

• Familiarity with headless CMS or modern JS frameworks (Next.js, etc.)
