Job Responsibilities:
∎ MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: MSH is recruiting a candidate for a Senior Technical Advisor (Coordination and Liaison) position on the Health Systems for Tuberculosis Project (HS4TB) in Bangladesh. The Health Systems for TB (HS4TB) project in Bangladesh is to support the GOB in identifying barriers to and designing and implementing a pathway for government-funded procurement of TB services through competitive contracting with non-government entities using the government procurement system.
∎ The Senior Technical Advisor (Coordination and Liaison) will support the project team in planning activities and coordinate with GOB authorities and NGOs, including HEU, NTP, and partner NGOs, to seek the necessary support to implement the project activities. The specific job responsibilities are as follows:
∎ Liaison and Coordination with GOB agencies for steering committee meetings, technical working group meetings, and other meetings and events.
∎ Liaison with ministries, departments for approval, and endorsement of the documents related to the project.
∎ Support and coordinate with GOB partners and donor contact for pilot design and implementation.
∎ Contribute to advocacy-related initiatives to include GOB-funded procurement of TB services through contracting with NGOs to the operational plan.
∎ Support the project team to implement the piloting and explore the contracting aspect in TB service between GOB and NGOs.
∎ Follow-up with GOB stakeholders to accelerate the pending tasks and accomplish within timeline.
∎ Communicate with the Project Country Director (CPD), Senior/Technical Advisors of the project within Bangladesh and globally to ensure their engagement collaboratively.
∎ Support to enhance capacity building of relevant stakeholders.
∎ Day to day project coordination and operational reports and document the project success.
∎ Ensure high-quality official letters, meeting minutes, and documents related to meetings, training, workshops, etc.
∎ Guide to relevant staff assigned by CPD.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Candidates should have 7 years working experience in the following areas:
∎ Practical work experience in Health Sector and TB program.
∎ Experience in working with the government regulatory system.
∎ Proven experience in preparing communication and coordination materials for stakeholder engagement.
∎ Experience in program planning and implementation.
∎ Proven experience in capacity development of multi-stakeholders.
∎ Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering relevant organization's need based capacity building assistance.
∎ Proven experience working with government and non-government stakeholders and facilitating capacity development participatory planning processes with them.
