• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sweater Industry

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sweater design (preferably in 100% export-oriented factories).

• Must have experience working with major international buyers (e.g., JULES, BONPRIX, TAO, TESCO, GEORGE, MAYORAL, RIVER ISLAND, AUCHAN, BOSS, HUGO, BILLEBLUSH, TKMAAX, MATALAN, NEW YORKER). Strong knowledge of yarns, gauges, jacquard, computer knitting machines (e.g. Shima-Sheiki, Stoll, Cixing, Steiger).

• Excellent design sense and technical skills with sound computer knowledge.

• Strong communication and team management skills.

• Create innovative sweater concepts with strong technical knowledge of yarn, stitch techniques and styling.

• Coordinate with buyers and merchandising teams for product development (which should be production/floor friendly) and presentation.

• Supervise the sample development process and ensure timely delivery of designed samples with quality.

• Guide and mentor junior designers, technicians, and sampling teams.

• Conduct market research and attend trade shows (if required) to stay updated on global fashion trends.

• Ensure alignment of designs with the brand’s identity and buyer profiles.

• Manage the design calendar and ensure deadlines are met for all projects.
